Killed For A Scarf?

I know what you’re thinking, but nope, this is not a story of gang violence.  It’s a story of a young and married Muslim mother who was stabbed 18 times in a courtroom in front of her husband and 4 year old son.  Marwa Sherbini a young professional, was from all accounts a wonderful daughter, mother and wife as well as a devout Muslim.  She was in court seeking justice from a man who had harrassed her for wearing her Hijab (pictured above).  It was this man, a German of Russian descent who pulled out a knife and stabbed the pregnant woman to death as onlookers looked on in terror.  Her husband, who rushed to help her during the attack, is now in critical condition – struck by the bullets of late arriving baliffs who believed he was was the prepatrator.  Read the full story here.
